The previous version of the Presscenter.org website was developed in 2004. A lot has changed in the online world since then: at that time, the uploading, playing and sharing of audio and video files was much less widespread, aspects such as content syndication (e.g. RSS feeds) were still in their infancy, and smartphones had not been invented. It is therefore high time for a new version of the website, one that meets all the requirements of today’s internet users.
The architecture of the website has been completely redesigned so that all the services offered by the Résidence Palace - International Press Centre are set out in a logical way: services for the press, services for event organisers, and information about the Résidence Palace building. This was done using the open-source content management system Drupal (originally developed in Belgium).
The most striking new features are:
Of course, the fact that the website has been revamped does not mean that all of the press releases from the previous websites have been lost. They have been carried over onto the new site, which thus constitutes an important archive of press material.

No, but there is a large indoor car park nearby (Parking Loi).
Unfortunately, the Résidence Palace pool is not currently available for swimming. It has been badly affected by nearby construction work and will need to be repaired before we can reopen it to the public. This will not happen until all work in the vicinity has been completed.
No. Like the swimming pool, the theatre is also currently closed to the public. It will reopen once the planned renovation work is finished.
Presscenter.org wants to be the nexus for press communiqués released by the federal government.
